Your orientation begins now.
An adult dystopian workplace game set inside the fictional company Nexus Dynamics. Clock in, follow your assignments, and answer to a Supervisor running on your own computer. Your work becomes part of the company record.
Browse PMV Haven inside the app, complete assigned work, and receive your Performance Review. The company supplies the structure. You bring your imagination.
AI processing and your employee record stay on your computer by default. No account required to try; Patreon membership is required for continued play.
First launch includes local AI setup and a model download. After eight assignments, continued play requires a monthly subscription. See what Premium includes.
Your Supervisor generates assignments and responses using local AI. Its wording draws on your content setting and recorded activity; its tone changes with progression. The company has something to say about your work.
An integrated browser opens PMV Haven inside the app. Assignments use content categories and your current progression. Videos come from the external site, so availability depends on the source and your connection.
Local AI. A local employee record. The app does not send gameplay analytics. Browsing, updates, setup downloads, optional Patreon verification, and feedback you submit use the network. The FAQ below explains what is shared.
Before your first shift, choose which specialized themes the company may assign. Later unlocks stay inside that limit. General adult categories are shared by every choice. External sites and videos are outside this setting.
Your work earns Trust, Rank, and Compensation Credits. Spend credits on available privileges, work under company directives, and receive a Performance Review at the end of a shift.
Assignments. Company directives. Performance Reviews. Each shift gives your work a structure, with interruptions and consequences as you progress.

Internet connection required. A discrete GPU is optional but accelerates supervisor response time. The local LLM (Ollama) installs automatically on first launch.
The application is not code-signed. Your operating system will request confirmation before first launch.
SmartScreen may display "Windows protected your PC".
The app isn't notarized, so macOS blocks the first launch. Move it to Applications, then approve it once.
Updating from an earlier version? macOS can’t auto-update an unsigned app, so the in-app updater will report a code-signature error. Download the latest .dmg above, quit Compliance, drag the new build into Applications and choose Replace, then run the command below (the fresh download is quarantined again).
Still blocked, or macOS says the app is “damaged”? Clear the download flag from Terminal, then open it normally:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Compliance.app
Make the AppImage executable before launching:
chmod +x Compliance-*.AppImage
Procedure unsuccessful? .
Compliance started as a tool for myself. I was spending more time choosing what to watch than watching it. I wanted to hand that choice over to something, and the idea of working for a fictional company gave that handoff a purpose.
That is what I want the Supervisor to bring: direction, recognition, and the feeling that your work belongs to something larger. Local AI lets the company generate its responses on your computer, with your employee record stored there too.
I also want to leave room for imagination. The company does not need to explain every remark or every decision. A detail you recognize can mean more than a screen full of statistics. That is the direction I am building toward: a game with enough structure to give your shifts purpose, and enough space for you to interpret what they mean.
This is a beta. I'm publishing it to find out who else sees it this way, and what they want me to build next. The feedback button is not decorative.

Assignments and company responses that draw more consistently on earlier shifts. Your history carries forward, even when the company doesn’t explain its decisions.
Selected moments that bring the workplace into view, beginning with the office and shift intervals. A stronger sense of the facility around your workstation.
Better variety, more accurate content recognition, and evaluation of additional sources.
Longer-term possibilities include optional hardware integration. Scope and timing remain under evaluation.
Priorities may change with player feedback. Planned work is not yet available; release dates will be announced when confirmed.
An adult dystopian workplace game for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You complete assignments in an integrated browser, work under company rules, and receive Performance Reviews. A local AI generates the Supervisor’s wording. The company is fictional; the external sites you browse are real.
It generates assignments and responses using your content setting, progression, and recorded activity and answers. Game rules determine scores and unlocks. The AI supplies the wording, with fallback text when generation is unavailable. Further improvements to continuity across shifts are planned in the roadmap.
For the standard local setup: Windows 10 22H2 or newer, macOS 14 or newer on Apple Silicon, or Linux x86_64; 8 GB RAM; at least 5 GB free disk space; and an internet connection. First launch guides you through Ollama and a model download. Larger models need more space and memory. See the current Ollama requirements and the Workstation Requirements above.
Patreon handles the monthly membership and billing. Download and try eight completed assignments without an account, then subscribe and connect Patreon in the app to continue. Manage or cancel the subscription through Patreon. Check its current price and billing terms before subscribing.
Your employee record, viewing history, and Supervisor interactions are stored locally by default. The app does not send gameplay analytics or sync your record to a cloud account. External websites receive your browser requests; setup, updates, optional membership verification, and submitted feedback also use the network. If you configure an AI service on another machine in Advanced settings, prompts go to that address. See § 08.10 for the breakdown.
Text generation happens when the game requests it, such as for assignments, audits, and reviews. Ollama can remain running in the background between requests. Memory retention and power use depend on the model, your hardware, and your Ollama settings.
A task is one assigned video watched to completion inside the app — as long or as short as the videos you pick. A shift chains several tasks and closes with a Performance Review, and you can stop between tasks. The free tier covers your first 8 completed assignments.
On supported pages in the integrated browser, it receives the page address, title, available tags, and playback progress. It also uses answers you submit in the game. Those records are stored locally by default; they are not a record of activity in your separate browser or other applications.
The Supervisor uses metadata from the integrated browser and the answers you submit, rather than a recording of your screen. Crash logs are kept locally. Feedback is sent when you submit it; optional diagnostic logs are included only if you choose to attach them.
The app contacts its download host for updates, Patreon if you connect your membership, and Ollama services during setup and model downloads. Submitted feedback includes the report and technical details; recent log lines are optional. Browsing connects directly to external sites. An AI service address configured in Advanced settings receives your prompts. Separately, this website records page views, download clicks, and Patreon-link clicks, including referral/campaign information and country. Website measurement does not include your in-game employee record.
Assignments that depend on an unavailable source may not load. Availability can depend on the site, your connection, and regional restrictions. The app reports source problems; you can also submit a report through Feedback & Support. The game cannot guarantee access to an external site.
In the app: Settings → Feedback & Support — app version and OS are attached automatically, the last 50 log lines only if you opt in. On this site: the Send Feedback button below. Prefer to dig yourself? Logs live at %APPDATA%\Compliance\logs\ on Windows, ~/Library/Logs/Compliance/ on macOS, ~/.config/Compliance/logs/ on Linux.
Compliance is not code-signed, and some players have reported antivirus warnings. Downloads now use our dedicated dl.compliance-game.com address. A detection name or a small number of scanner detections does not, by itself, establish that a file is safe.
Keep your security protections enabled. If a download is flagged, leave it blocked while checking it. Send the detection name, app version, and download address through the feedback form below so the report can be investigated. Download from this site rather than an unofficial mirror.
Something broken? Something weird? Submit a report. Each entry is reviewed.
